It’s been a big month for pirate radio history in Ireland. We report on the donation of the Irish Pirate Radio Archive to DCU and also bring you a flavour of the pirate radio meet-up in Dublin, where we recorded oral histories of pirate memories. Eoin Ronayne tells us his involvement with the pirate WLR, which paved the way for the current licensed station in Waterford. We also feature a report from the recent CRAOL Féile of community radio in Athlone with Declan Gibbons and Irena Djak Cvetkovic of Athlone Community Radio.
