In the December 2020 edition of Wireless on Flirt FM, we look back at the Féile (festival) of community radio organised by Community Radio Ireland (CRAOL). This year’s event was held online due to Covid-19 and hosted by Community Radio Kilkenny City. In this programme, we hear CRAOL chairman Declan Gibbons introduce the event followed by a welcome message from the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin. This is followed by a presentation of a draft of the new Community Media Policy by Seán Ó Siochrú and a review of 40 years of community radio in Ireland by Dr Rosemary Day.
