On this edition of Wireless, we report from the Summer School on Transnational Radio History held recently at the University of Luxembourg and reminisce about that tiny country’s greatest ever radio export. The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland launches a new archiving scheme which aims to preserve valuable audiovisual heritage including radio. We hear what’s going on at another student radio station Queen’s Radio in Belfast and we look back at the National Community Radio Day 2018 held last month.
This is the last edition of series 2 of Wireless. Join us on Flirt FM after the summer break for a new series starting on the first Monday in September.
